Harry Styles debuts second single on SNL

Update : 16 Apr 2017, 09:48 PM
Former One Direction singer, Harry Styles carried out two prominent musical performances on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, and appeared on several funniest cameos showing off his comedy skill. Styles dominated the stage singing as a solo artist for the first time without his former band One Direction, with a powerful performance of his debut solo single “Sign of the Times.” Later in the evening, Styles returned for a second performance where he premiered another new tune “Ever Since New York.” His second single is a slower, lovelorn ballad and will definitely spark controversy over who it could have been written about. However, the 23-year-old English heartthrob didn’t just stick to singing on the popular NBC show. In a game of “Celebrity Family Feud: Time Travel Edition,” Styles showed off his comic talent by impersonating a 1970s-era Mick Jagger. While impersonating Jagger, Styles even poked fun at departure from One Direction and his ambition to become a solo artist. When he was asked if he would ever try to branch out on his own from the Rolling Stones, Styles’ Jagger replied by saying, “Solo? Why would anyone in a successful band want to go solo? That is insane.” Styles’ self-titled debut album is set to be released on May 12 this year.
