Grameenphone launched a music video and digital audio of a patriotic song - “Bhalobasha’r Bangladesh,” sung by Bushra Shahriar, a renowned singer of the country, on Tuesday, March 14, in the capital.
Available on Grameenphone’s GP Music platform, the music video is directed by Noman Robin, presented by Uro Cola, and powered by Diamond World Ltd.
The fact that the song, patriotic in nature, is being launched in the month of the initiation of the country’s Liberation War, has made the occasion special.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT Division, Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and ICT, Petter Furburg, CEO, Yasir Azman, CMO, Mahmud Hossain, chief corporate affairs officer of Grameenphone, representatives of Uro Cola, Diamond World, RedOrange Media and Communication, were present on the occassion, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, the State Minister thanked the singer for launching this patriotic song on the month of freedom. He also added that entertainment has entered the digital era, and platforms like GP Music is ensuring that the artists get proper share from their creations.’
Launched in 2015, GP Music is one of the largest online digital music platforms in Bangladesh. The platform currently boasts a collection of 100,000 Bangla songs, and has a subscriber base of more than 2.5 million.
