Recently Parambrata Chatterjee, Paoli Dam and Nusrat Imrose Tisha, three celebrated acting talents from Kolkata and Bangladesh, joined in a filming of a Bangladesh-India joint venture film, titled Holud Bani. Last week, the stars were spotted at several filming locations at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India. Its directors Mukul Roy Chowdhury and Taher Shipon plan to depict a love triangle in the back drop of a picturesque countryside.
The story of the film revolves around a middle-class man who travels to a place along with a woman in search of a job. The place they are travelling to, is called Holud Bani. There, his meeting with a girl would change his life completely.
Based on a story written by Sukanta Gangopadhyay, the film is jointly produced by Bangladesh’s Impress Telefilm Ltd and India’s Telecine and Entertainment Ltd.
Parambrata, Paoli and Tisha portray the film’s major three roles, Polash, Kosturi and Onu, respectively.
After Moner Manush, it’s Paoli’s second Bangladesh-India joint venture film, while it is Parambrata’s first. Parambrata’s debut Bangladeshi feature Bhuban Majhi is now in theatres with another one, Voyonkor Sundor, on its way to the cinemas. After Doob with Irrfan Khan, this is Tisha’s second film shooting in India.
Some filming for Holud Bani will take place in Dhaka in April.
