A Spaniard opera singer has surprised judges on Got Talent España reality show by covering AC/DC’s most popular number Highway to Hell after she stripped off her gown to reveal ripped jeans and a corset.
Cristina Ramos, 37, displayed her impressive vocal abilities with opera to the panel of judges before the guitar riff from the 1979 Australian rock anthem interrupted her performance less than a minute in.
Ramos appeared to be the typical classically-trained opera singer, performing Olympia’s song (she’s the wind-up doll lover of Hoffman) from Les Contes d’Hoffman by Offenbach. Even though the judges and the public were impressed by her vocal prowess, it was when the base suddenly shifted from Offenbach to Highway to Hell by AC/DC.
The singer at first acted confused while the judges looked around and appeared to wonder what was going on and within a second had started to roll eyes after the 37-year-old ripped off the bottom half of her formal gown to reveal her jeans and corset to bust-out her cover of Highway to Hell.
The judges remained stunned throughout the performance, with one even jumping on the bench to kick his legs in excitment.
As expected, she advanced in the competition after one of the judges pressed the gold buzzer which showered Ramos in gold confetti.
