Humans Starting off with great news for show lovers, Humans season 2 is going to be airing soon so don't miss the premiere. AMC and Channel 4 have announced there will be a second season of Humans, its most successful drama in 20 years, ahead of the show’s highly anticipated season finale on Sunday night. Set in a parallel world, Humans has prompted widespread debate about artificial intelligence. It imagines a world in which we increasingly rely on robots, marketed as high-tech luxury house appliances. As the eight-part drama has progressed, it has wrestled with questions around artificial intelligence and its possible threat to mankind, as well as exploring what it means to be human. - Premieres in 43 days. UnReal We’re about to get UnReal in a few weeks for season 2. When UnREAL debuted on Lifetime the summer of 2015, show-runner Sarah Gertrude Shapiro had no idea the show’s provocative premise about producers behind the scenes of a Bachelor-like franchise would win audiences in droves, nor did she expect that viewers would come to appreciate the series’ focus on two central female figures, Quinn (Constance Zimmer) and Rachel (Shiri Appleby). But the show became a breakout hit, and by the end of the year, EW picked the drama as one of 2015’s best new series and praised it for its take on feminism. Naturally, Shapiro and the writers aren’t taking the show’s sophomore season lightly. When the series returns, it’ll tackle issues like race and feature new cast members. Still, Shapiro emphasises, UnREAL will always remain about Quinn and Rachel, even as the reality-show-within-a-show switches things up. “In the writers’ room, we literally just break the Quinn and Rachel [story] line, and then we figure out stuff that works with them,” she told EW. Below, Shapiro talks the plan for season 2, the success of season 1, and the one plot Lifetime asked the writers to walk back because it felt too “far”. - Premieres in 37 days. Mr Robot The series ended Season 1 with troubled hacker Elliot suffering a psychotic break, before receiving a knock at his apartment door from an unknown visitor. Well, season 2 will be air soon. The USA Network has now confirmed the airdate for Mr Robot's season 2 premiere. The hacker drama will return to American screens on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Despite a brutal first season, season two of Mr. Robot is “only going to get harder” for its star, Rami Malek, or so Sam Esmail tells him. In the latest installment of Variety’s Contenders Conversations, Malek talks the impact of the Golden Globe nominated role, teases the coming episodes and looks back on when he met Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. - Premieres in 25 days.
