Google has said that websites will not require any special coding to enable the feature
A new Google Assistant feature can read web pages out loud in 42 languages.
The feature, called Read It, is launched by saying “Hey Google, read it” or “Hey Google, read this page.”
Read It can be accessed through browsers and Android smartphones.
It automatically scrolls through the web page that it is reading, and highlights words as they are read out loud.
The reading speed may also be adjusted to speed up or slow down the reading. There are also options to pause the reading, or to skip backward and forward through the text.
If the text on the web pages are not in the user’s native language, they may use Read It’s translation menu to select the language they want. Google Assistant will automatically translate the text before reading it out loud.

Developers may integrate this new feature into mobile apps.
