The country on Saturday entered day three of a 10-day general holiday declared by the government to enforce social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing measures implemented by the authorities in Dhaka include markers on the ground for where people should stand when in line, the distribution of daily essentials from trucks, and strict monitoring of those who are out doors. Efforts to disinfect roads have also been taken, while technicians at the Covid-19 testing facility in Dhaka are hard at work. While most people are staying at home, some are still forced to sleep on the streets
