We hope that all departments within the government listen to the PM’s directives and take them to heart

Never has it been more important for Bangladesh to take a convincing stand against all the elements which threaten to destroy our peace and hinder our progress.

In this regard, we truly appreciate Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s conviction against those involved with terror, militancy, narcotics, and corruption -- elements that are destructive to any society.

The government and the people have been working tirelessly to ensure that we continue to remain on this path to progress -- and it would be a shame if corrupt and destructive elements within our society were to be successful in pushing us off-track.

This boost in confidence is especially necessary, considering the fact that several individuals and organizations within the government were found to be involved in various criminal activities and the PM’s words assure us that the government is taking these things seriously.

It is always encouraging when authorities put their resources behind cleaning up their act -- thus ensuring more efficient and effective governance to its people, and we hope that, moving forward, all departments within the government listen to the PM’s directives and take them to heart.

The primary issue, when it comes to Bangladesh, has always been a lack of implementation when it comes to government directives, and we hope that trend stops here as we look forward to a more prosperous and corruption-free Bangladesh.
