Even after 45 years since Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s death, not all of his killers have faced punishment.
Though five of the assassins have been executed, there are still those who have managed to elude the hand of justice.
This is complicated by the fact that some of them have been living on foreign soil, exploiting the lack of an extradition agreement between Bangladesh and these nations -- Canada and the US.
It is of utmost importance that Bangladesh, through proper diplomatic channels, work out a way to bring these killers back to Bangladesh.
They must face the music. Be it this year, or the next.
