Muhammad Jahangir, a noted media personality and executive director of Centre for Development Communication, has passed away at the age of 68.
Jahangir, also a journalist and younger brother of Noble laureate Dr Yunus, breathed his last at Asgar Ali Hospital around 12:40am on Wednesday, reports UNB.
He had been suffering from cancer, Tanbirul Islam, assistant general manager of Yunus Centre, confirmed. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday and put on life support since then.
He left behind his wife, one daughter, three sons and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
