Helena Khan, 91, a celebrated novelist, passed away in Atlanta, United States, on Friday.
She left behind three sons, three daughters-in-law, a daughter, a son-in-law, and grandchildren, to mourn her death.
She was the recipient of a number of awards including Shishu Academy Award in 2001, Bangla Academy Award in 2008, and Ekushey Padak in 2010.
Helena was an eminent educationist and personality, a prolific writer, well known in literary circles and beyond.
