Making and selling spellbinding room decoration pieces and captivating stationery items, ‘Stellar’, an e-commerce store, has been creating vibrant interior since 2016.
Sarah Zarrar, the owner of Stellar and a graduate from Monash University, was motivated to start up something compelling, utilizing the pool of talent in the family. She wanted to make eye-catching foreign stationery available to the local people and with affordable prices too. So, she went ahead and made her plan into a reality.
Story behind the name
Previously known as ‘Stitch & Co’, Stellar is the result of a spontaneous decision. The founder later realized that ‘Stitch & Co’ was not going well with their pug-themed adventure and thus wanted to come up with a new name. Stellar, “which means magnificent and is related to stars,” said the owner, was inspired from the song Stellar by Incubus.The shop, the sums and the supplies
Stellar is a venture which promotes and delivers both domestically and internationally. The prime idea is to absorb and associate with the local artists in the country. At the same time, some products are also imported from abroad.
The products, innovative and varied, are available at the most equitable prices. Exciting deals are offered frequently as well. The products are divided into the categories: 'home & decor', 'work & study' and 'collaborations'.Success and Challenges
Since launching, Stellar has amassed 6,575 likes and 6,598 followers on its Facebook page. The growing support motivates them to continue moving ahead.
Stellar had to go through a lot of trial and error during planning, implementing and mostly to find the suppliers. Finding the right balance between quality and affordability was a big challenge.What’s new?
