Physical touch: Whether it’s the feeling of your mom touching your forehead when you’re unwell, the warm embrace of your partner, or even a boop from your pet dog, it’s a loving touch that recharges your batteries, and you communicate affection the same way. You might not always know what to say, or solve problems, but you sure give the best hugs.
Acts of service: You belong to the school of ‘action speaks louder than words’. A natural caregiver, you show affection by doing helpful things for your loved ones, and one has a better chance of wooing you by doing the dishes than by buying you dinner.
Words of affirmation: The three magic words hold special meaning for you. Words hold the key to your heart, and you show love through grand speeches and beautiful letter. We’re so jealous of people who get birthday wishes from you, because your posts rock.
Quality time: Time is valuable, and any that you spend with your loved ones, you want it to count. Whether it’s a whole vacation together, or just a shared Uber right, you make it magical, and like it when your loved one brings the same energy.
Receiving gifts. For you, love is related to generosity. It’s not so much the material things, but the thought behind them, and they present tangible evidence of affection. If you like someone, you’re likely to get them something really nice.
