Three hairstyles to try this eid

Eid is around the corner, and we all know what that means – an entire day of looking our very best, be it for family get-togethers, hanging out with friends or taking a stroll around the neighbourhood. For this, we need a nice outfit, comfortable, stylish shoes, and a pretty hairstyle to top off the look. Hairstyles are very important, as they help to put the entire ensemble in order. So, to compliment the pretty dress and fabulous footwear you opt for, we have some simple yet stunning hairstyles for you that can last all day in this summer heat.

The swirling twist

This is one of the easiest hairstyles you can choose. If you are someone who doesn’t want to spend an immense amount of time in front of the mirror fixing your hair, this hairdo is ideal for you. To do this, you simply need to begin by parting your hair – preferably on either side, but a middle parting works too. Then take a small segment of hair on one side and divide it into two equal parts. Next, entwine them till you reach the end of the strands. If you want your hair to look a little different, you can also braid the strands instead of twisting them, and embody the fierce Mother of Dragons. This twisting/braiding trick helps keep the strands in place. After you are done with this part, pin the hair at the back of your head with a bobby pin and set the braid or twisty in place for the day with some hairspray.

The doughnut bun

Love doughnuts? Well, now you can make a hairstyle out of it! This is yet another effortless hairstyle that goes quite well with casual outfits or with dressier attires. If you are tired of your long hair getting sticky and unmanageable in the heat, you can opt for this bun and roam around freely in the sun without your hair getting in the way. To do this, first make a ponytail with a thick rubber band and then fan your ponytail out. Next, place another rubber band (preferably a thinner one) over the crown, to secure the top section. Then twist the remaining strands of hair and wrap them around the bun until all the strands are neatly tucked inside the bun. To make sure your bun stays in place, add bobby pins towards the centre, and you are good to go.

The classic puff

Elegant yet effortless, the classic puff never goes out of style. This Eid, however, you can jazz up the classic do a little for an extra special effect. For this hairstyle, at first take the front section of your hair and tie it with a rubber tie. Comb the hair from front to back while holding the tied up hair so that you don’t lose the shape of your small ponytail. Now, gently pull strands of your hair from the ponytail to give it a light puff. Make sure your pony is tied well and is secure. Before the next step, we recommend you use a generous amount of a heat-protection serum or spray, but that is optional. Then, take a curling iron and slightly curl your hair at the front. Make sure not to overdo it. The idea is to give your hair a nice wave. If you want, you can also curl the rest of your hair. This chic hairstyle will last you throughout the day, and is sure to elevate your entire look.

So, if you want to make a style statement this Eid, go for one of the hairstyles above, and don’t forget to flaunt it!
