To add an extra oomph to your look this summer, Abayaholic has launched their new scarf collection.
The fashion scene is continually evolving in our country, and the debut of many new designers with exclusive ideas is proof of that. Every designer has his or her own, unique style; Mumtahana Elahi is one of them. She always had a keen interest in fashion, and also obtained her Bachelors degree in fashion designing. She started her journey as a fashion blogger/ Instagram influencer, and later went on to start her own clothing line. Her line, Abayaholic, is still quite new; however, it has successfully grabbed the attention of the people for its unique designs and good quality.
Her collections include pieces of all sorts, from dresses to traditional wear, to western and formals. "Wrong measurements can kill even the best dresses, and that is the reason why I generally focus on measurements the most, because my collection is definitely not one size or free size. I customize every design as per the client's requirements, so that they can get the best fit with outstanding design" said Mumtahana. She has been working on a vast range of scarves to launch in the summer with the aim to do something different.
Cessory by Abayaholic
Summer is surely a wonderful time for scarves to turn into a closet fundamental, and there is no doubt that this fun frill can instantly change the appearance of an outfit. Scarves bring color, texture and, interest to any outfit. Keeping all these in mind, Mumtahana has launched her scarves collection recently to give a new look to fashion. The name of this collection is Cessory.
In the summer, most girls use scarves to protect themselves from heat and pollution. Mumtahana thought of giving this a new look by bringing designing her own scarves. The designs and quality of the scarves are top notch, as she focuses on the material and comfort of her clients. The fabric makes the clothes what they are, which means it is a standout amongst most designs. Abayaholic outsources their fabric from various spots. Some of their most popular scarves are made of the duchess glossy silk, lightweight lavish georgettes, or muslin. As Mumtahana wears a hijab herself, her first priority is to design beautiful hijabs for her clients which were a great hit from the beginning. Later on, she thought of making the scarves in a way which could be used not only as hijabs, but in other styles as well. Hence, Cessory is a more inclusive collection. The scarves are also really affordable, as she didn’t want a niche market for her designs.
Mumtahana is not only a designer; she is also a fashion blogger and loves to style. She has offered a few tips to style the scarves to make your look complete and unique:
Belt it up: If you need to wear a scarf to stand out, don't just fold it over your neck. Rather, wear a monochromatic outfit, and wrap a printed scarf, so the two ends fall in the front. You would now be able to belt it around your midsection for a different look.
Casual look: Go for lightweight materials in soft hues or bright summery hues. The best thing a casual summer outfit could use is a scarf tied around your messy bun, similar to a boho turban.
Go for subtleties: The goal in summer is to ensure comfort without looking too mundane. To update your casual look with a basic jeans and tee outfit, just use a bright coloured scarf with fringes or floral pattern.
Travel scarves: A scarf is an extraordinary accessory for any weather, and is also essential while travelling. It protects you from dust, helps you to cover yourself, and is also a great style statement. You can get one in a neutral colour to pair it up with any outfit.
