The UK-based Bangladeshi designer swoops in on Dhaka twice a year to drop some stellar menswear. If you’re planning to up your style game this Eid, here’s what you can get out of his latest offerings.

Someday my prints will come

And that day is today. Samuel Hoque is quick to remind you about that MA in textile from the UK, not through words, but his work. The new collection features fresh and original digital prints you’ll see nowhere else appearing in surprising ways all over his comfy kurtas and signature kotis.

MC drop the mic!

We’re talking about the guy who invented the T-cos (Mujib Coats rendered in t-shirt and jersey fabric). This season, he raises the bar with some truly stunning kotis with muslin and jamdani overlays. Intended for the high-wattage dawats, these babies are part of his exclusive bespoke ensemble line.

Hot studs

Adding a little excitement to the summer panjabis, are subtle surprises in the form of studded collars, velvet buttons and surprise slits showing a slash of colour. The softest pastels and intricate florals get an edgy update with the metal details.

Trendy with a tee

After all the festivities, if you’d like to unwind in style, there is an extensive line of comfy t-shirts, all bearing beautiful hand-painted motifs, and a little shine in the form of sterling silver studs.
