A reception was held for freshers from summer semester 2015 at European University of Bangladesh. The programme was held and arranged by the EEE club in the auditorium of the engineering campus at Mirpur. Vice-chairman of European University and a great freedom fighter Dr Mokbul Ahmed Khan was the chief guest and pro-vice chancellor, Professor Dr Prafullah Chandra Sarkar was present as special guest. The function was presided over by Professor AOM Abdul Ahad, chairman of EEE department.
Among others, president of EEE club Sarwar Hossain Tuhin Sarkar, senior vice-president Md Imran Hossain, general secretary Tawfiqul Islam, joint general secretary Md Ridoy Parvez spoke on the occasion. The meeting was concluded with a cultural function.
