One man’s waste, another’s wealth

An insurmountable amount of food is wasted on a daily basis. Whether be it a wedding or a mezban, the organizers make more than enough food so that everyone can eat their heart out. However, large portions remain untouched even after the caterers take home their share. Over the last few years, some organizations, such as Prochesta, found a solution to this problem: Feeding the hungry and poor. Every day they, along with other similar organizations, collect food from large events and distribute them among low-income groups and homeless. Ahead of the wedding season, one must remember to call such organizations after an event to collect the extra food from the venue to spread joy and happiness
