The Kundobarir Mela in Madaripur is a traditional event that has been taking place for 250 years.
In 1783, Sri Sri Dinnath Kundo and Mahesh Kundo first organized the fair during Kali Puja. Devotees from different parts of the country come to see this age-old fair which takes place in the district’s Kalkini upazila.
