Bangladeshi traditional puppet show is an essential part of the fair

The Kundobarir Mela in Madaripur is a traditional event that has been taking place for 250 years.

In 1783, Sri Sri Dinnath Kundo and Mahesh Kundo first organized the fair during Kali Puja. Devotees from different parts of the country come to see this age-old fair which takes place in the district’s Kalkini upazila.

Vendors and small businesses owners from the surroundings areas gather at the fair with various items to attract customers.

Putul Nach (Puppet show) is an indispensable part of this annual event.

Beginning on November 6, the fair will end on November, 11.
