In pictures: Empty streets of Dhaka

  • Published at 05:30 pm August 21st, 2018

Eid holidays turn Dhaka empty.

Our beloved and hustling and bustling Dhaka turned empty as millions of the city dwellers start heading home to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha.

During the Eid holidays thin traffic and a few vehicles on the streets give the city a break from heavy traffic jam, air pollution, sound pollution, dust, busy pedestrians, and long queues for public transportation.

Enjoy the empty roads until the city is loaded with heavy traffic again, Eid Mubarak!
