India most-wanted criminal has been quarantined at an army hospital in Karachi, reports CNN News 18
Dawood Ibrahim, India’s most-wanted criminal who also carries a global terrorist tag, has been tested positive for Covid-19, says media reports.
Quoting a top government source, CNN News 18 said that Dawood and his wife Zubeena Zareen, also known as Mehjabeen Shaikh, has been admitted to an army hospital in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
Responsible for the 1993 Mumbai blasts that killed over 300, Dawood is rumoured to have been living in Pakistan although the government has denied any knowledge about his whereabouts in the country.
In 2003, the US listed Dawood as a global terrorist.
CNN News18 further reported that the chief of Pakistan intelligence agency ISI has been informed that Dawood, his wife and personal staff are under quarantine and are at an army hospital.
