The only confirmed coronavirus (Covid-19) patient in Khagrachhari, has recovered. As of now, the samples of 266 people have been sent to be tested for the coronavirus against a population of 518,463 people in the district, according to sources.
The man's sample tested negative for the third time and he is now doing well, said Civil Surgeon Nupur Kanti Das on Saturday morning, adding that now the district has no confirmed coronavirus case.

The man received a release letter on Saturday. He was in isolation at Dighinala Kamakkachhara Primary School.
The civil surgeon said that now 21 people are in institutional quarantine and 124 are in home quarantine.
The previously infected man was a readymade garment worker who returned to Dighinala on April 18 from Narayanganj.
Later, his sample was sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease ( BITID) in Chittagong and the report came positive for the virus on April 29.
Among the 266 samples sent for tests, 160 came negative until Saturday in Khagrachhari. Bangladesh confirmed 206 deaths and 13,134 cases until Friday.
