The chairman of Prince Garments (pvt) Ltd has died from coronavirus.
Md Taslim Akhter breathed his last at around 3:30pm while undergoing treatment at Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Hospital on Thursday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) confirmed the matter in a press note.
His namaz-e-janaza and burial will be held under government arrangement.
The BGMEA has requested everyone to pray for the departed soul.
As of Thursday, Bangladesh has confirmed 21 deaths from coronavirus, which 330 confirmed cases have been confirmed since the first detection in the country on March 8.
