4 of a family hacked in Lakshmipur

Four members of a family have been hacked in Nupur Boarding area under Raipur upazila in Lakshmipur. The injured are Mohin Uddin Babor, his wife Angurer Nesa, daughters Mohima Akhter and Safura Akhter. Locals said Mohima's husband Nazmul Hossain locked into a quarrel with his parents-in-law over some family matter around 4am Friday. At a stage of the quarrel, Nazmul hacked the four with a sharp weapon. Raipur OC Lokman Hossain said: “The injured have been admitted to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital.” He said police have detained Nazmul in connection to the incident.
