PPPA, MLIT sign Renewal of Memorandum of Cooperation agreement

A "Renewal of Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC)" signing event with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan was recently arranged by the Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) and the Embassy of Bangladesh in Tokyo.
The event was held in the Bangabandhu Auditorium of the Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The MoC was signed by Muhammad Ibrahim, CEO of the PPPA Authority, Bangladesh, and Hayashi Toshiyuki, vice-minister for MLIT, Japan.
Earlier on October 4, 2022, a day-long appraisal of the MoC was held in the MLIT, with the Bangladesh team being led by Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Kaikaus.
The other members of Bangladesh delegation include Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Md Mokammel Hossain, Roads and Highways Division Secretary ABM Aminullah Nuri, PPPA CEO Muhammad Ibrahim, Railways Ministry Secretary Md Humayun Kabir, Additional Secretary of ERD Shahriar Kader Siddiky and Chittagong WASA Managing Director AKM Fazlullah.
During the signing event, Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, principal secretary to the prime minister, State Minister for MLIT Iishi Hiroo, Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Shahabuddin Ahmed, among others, were present.
