The Second Chance Education (SCE) program has launched the “Online Reporting System” in Dhaka, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.
Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) Director General Md Abu Hena Mostofa Kamal was the chief guest, while SCE Director Md Delwar Hossain was guest of honor at the launching ceremony at the DPE office in Dhaka.
Save the Children Senior Education Advisor M Habibur Rahman, SCE Chief of Party Md Rafiqul Islam Shathy, and Dhaka Ahsania Mission Deputy Director Education Shahidul Islam were also present, among others.
According to the press release, the purpose of the Online Reporting System is to serve as a cost-effective and efficient method of managing program data and information. It will also act as a knowledge management hub, and will be regulated on a monthly basis.
DPE, under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, has been implementing the SCE program under the Primary Education Development Program 3 (PEDP3). DPE has formed a partnership with Brac, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, and Save the Children in this regard.
Seven national NGOs, namely RDRS Bangladesh, CODEC, Jagoroni Chakra Foundation, DSK, Ghashful, JSUS, and YPSA, have been working with Brac and Save the Children as implementing partners.
