Grameenphone has launched a new package for corporate clients known as the M2M (Machine to Machine) plan to manage their various devices more efficiently.
The launching ceremony was held at the GP House in Bashundhara on Thursday.
The new M2M Plan includes various data packs, self-service portals, industrial SIM cards, and Telco-grade Security Features to provide customers with more choices, control and visibility.
The self-care portal M2M Control Centre will allow customers to view and administer their connected devices through a dashboard interface, improving operating efficiency by providing valuable information and insight.
The M2M Plan also offers industrial-grade SIM cards with a higher operating temperature, increased resistance to corrosion and vibration and higher data retention period, which is especially suitable for demanding M2M cases in vehicles, utility metering and environmental monitoring.
Grameenphone’s Deputy CEO Yasir Azman launched the product in the presence of senior officials from different corporate houses and government operations.
“Grameenphone is committed to providing cutting age technology to our customers. Introduction of M2M Suite is a part of that commitment. This will pave the way for greater automation in the local economy,” Yasir said.
Adnan Khan, Grameenphone’s head of M2M/IoT and Cloud Services said: “Our new M2M Control Centre make these connected machines more manageable and productive for our customers”.
Grameenphone hopes that with increasing digitalization of the country through connected devices, such an offering can play a major role in developing and stimulating the overall M2M ecosystem.
