The University of Leicester and Data Management Aid in collaboration with Government of Bangladesh jointly organized the program.

The daylong program on Saturday was funded by International Planned Parenthood Federation IPPF funded “Innovative Project” and IPPF- Sub-Regional Office (SRO’s) “Sprint”.

This is the second time the program was arranged to obtain information through reproductive health studies, during any disaster.

Dr Nibedita S Ray-Bennett of the University of Leicester conducted the research work of the program.

Around 203 health workers attended the program. They were informed about United Nations Population Fund Activities (UNFPA's) health kit-8 and how it will benefit in accepting miscarriage and subsequent complications, and providing services during flooding.
