Well known munchies like pau bhaji, pani puri, papri chat and paneer masala will be lavishly served as cold appetisers. The appetisers station will display dosa and a variety of kebabs including beef mashuri kebab, adraki tikka, and more. The mains section will contain the reputed Hydrabadi biryani, almonds saffron pulao, lobster masala, Goan fish curry, Pomfret masala, karai paneer, achari mutton, Kashmiri dum aloo, and other delicacies. Without the traditional mithai the food festival would be incomplete, and as such the desert section will be adorned with golap jamoon, rasmalai, reshmi jelabi, and gajar ka halwa.
The guests can attend the festival at Tk3542 net per person. To make guests feel safe and comfortable, the hosts have partnered with Uber as transport partner. At the end of the festival, the winners of the raffle draw will be announced, who will be getting round trip flights to Bangkok.
“The people of Bangladesh are very dear to my heart and it was my dream to come here and demonstrate authentic Indian cuisine,” said Chef Gopal, the guest chef.
“The Indian Food Festival 2017 is inspired not by us, but the very people of Bangladesh who loves teasing their palate with this traditional cuisine,” added general manager Randal Whelpdale.
