Sheraton Dhaka hotel’s Four Points in Gulshan will hold a Street Food Market from May 13 till May 20 at its signature restaurant, The Eatery.
Chefs at the restaurant will present live cooking demonstrations for the dishes requested by patrons.
Street Food Market will present street food from countries such as the United States, Mexico, Italy, Japan, China, Thailand, and India.
At the Italian station, patrons can savour pizza, risotto, cheese bread, freshly baked focaccia, lentils, and many more dishes. Pasta and carbonara will be cooked live.
Burritos, a taco bar, grilled corn with lime and parmesan, and beef and chicken nachos are waiting at the Mexican station.
Patrons can taste authentic Thai cuisine with Pad Thai, Sang Choi Bao of Sichuan lamb with smoked eggplant nahmprik, and whole grilled snapper with coriander soy.
Lovers of Japanese foods can try sushi, sashimi, Tasmanian salmon tempura, chicken teriyaki, fried rice, chicken gyoz, prawn ceviche, silken tofu with wasabi pepper sauce, or grilled prawns with Kombu butter.
The seafood station will offer lobster, prawns, crab, squid and tuna.
The street fest will also offer American hot dogs, Indian dosas, Chinese Sichuan steak tartar with shaved fried garlic, black pepper mud crabs, salt and pepper squid, and sweet and sour lamb ribs.
A fresh juice bar, candy bar and a dessert station will be on offer as well.
