Officials and teachers have been asked to assist the local administration in the inoculation campaign
The Education Ministry has asked the authorities concerned to ensure that all students above 18 years of age are given Covid-19 vaccine.
A circular issued on Sunday directed the chairman of the University Grants Commission, the director general of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and chairmen of all education boards to take measures.
The heads of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education in all levels have been asked to encourage the teachers, staff and students of all educational institutions to take vaccines to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
The teachers will encourage the students and their family members to take vaccines and follow health guidelines during the online classes, the circular says.
Moreover, the staff of all related offices and teachers have been asked to assist the local administration in encouraging the people to take the Covid vaccine.
