*I had tons of fun writing this, I hope you have fun reading it*
I'm glad I sneaked out of the house, I'm an eligible maiden of this kingdom, why shouldn’t I be going to the Royal ball?
Lady Tremaine was never going to let me go, no surprises there. But my back up plan worked. Long story short, with the help of my fairy Godmother, here I am at the Royal ball, dressed from head to toe, dancing with Prince Charming.
I don't know how many hours pass with us moving and swaying. We speak in rhythms, laugh in twirls and fall in love in silence. As our lips tremble inches apart from each other's, I hear the Grand clock ringing with a heavy chime as the clock strikes 12. That's my deadline, I need to run now. But I haven't come this far to go home without getting my kiss. So I lean in.
To my surprise, Prince Charming looks at the clock alarmingly as he walks backwards, his pace fastening with every step.
"No wait, stop," I shout out as I chase him up the stairs. And then I see it.
His clothes being ripped apart as he bursts out of them. His hands turn into claws, his skin full of fur, fangs in place of his teeth, his back arching as he lets out a spine-chilling howl.
The full moon beams behind Prince Charming, a fully turned werewolf, who is now staring at me with bloodthirst in his eyes.

Silence and anger don’t go well together, especially when you’re in a fight. She had said what she wanted to and was fuming and was waiting for a response, almost taunting and daring a retort to be thrown her away. As the quietude lengthened and no one said anything she felt she had won but that didn’t help with the anger. Fighting with a lover is never pleasant.
She walked out wondering how every word she had said had met instantaneous responses but finally somehow there was nothing more to say and that seemed to cast a shadow of puzzlement beyond her anger. She couldn’t even remember how it had all started, she just knew there was more to be said, there was more that needed to be said. She had always believed that if you don’t address what is bothering you immediately it does not lead to anywhere good. But when two people fight you speak and then the next. Why hadn’t ?ℎ? spoken back?
Even if she didn’t want to, pride made her go to bed angry. ‘Everything would be better in the morning, right?’ reassurance spoke to her subconsciously.
Morning came and instinctively she turned and reached to the other side of the bed, only to find it empty. She remembered. She sat up and noticed a tiny note on the nightstand. She feared she knew what it might say. On it was succinctly scribbled, ‘It’s over’.

Silence
Whispers hitting the sheild like
hammers on a damaged wall
They're all waiting
The preacher
To prove himself right
The teacher
To see her rise
There she was
Scattered like a torn book
Having broken a toe or two
Tears streamed down
While the piano made sounds
That seemed like the sky was falling apart
But she had to
she had to
she had to
She rose like a withered flower
Trying to gather up all the petals
She rose like a swan
And lost her legs in a single turn.
