After the success of its last Italian extravaganza, Radisson Blu Water Garden Dhaka brings you World Week of Italian Cuisine, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. Held from November 18 till November 24, Italian Nights brings you the most scrumptious Italian delicacies.
Joining the hotel as a guest chef is Eliana Vigneti, a renowned restaurateur and entrepreneur. Chef Eliana, a chef for over 20 years, specializes in Italian. As part of the World Week of Italian Cuisine, Chef Eliana is excited to present a wide range of authentic Italian dishes.
Assisting her is the hotel’s highly experienced culinary team led by the executive sous chef, Sheikh Abdur Rashid. Chef Rashid previously organized Italian themed buffets and is highly skilled at providing tantalizing regional cuisines from Italy. Chef Rashid got into cooking after he was inspired by a book written by world renowned chef Marco Pierre White. His favourite Italian food to cook is saffron risotto.
The variety of food is to die for; from pizza to scrumptious desserts, you name it, it’s all there. Their antipasti section consists of beef carpaccio, Italian salami, smoked salmon and trout and seafood terrine. The bread section consists of all kinds of breads, from crispy grissini sticks to specially made focaccia. One treat for the guests is the live cooking, where the chefs cook their wide range of spaghetti right in front of your eyes.
Chef Rashid’s personal recommendation is the Carbonara, and without a doubt one should try it. Italian Night’s wide range of mouthwatering desserts is a treat to both your eyes and your appetite. From famous chocolate dome cake, cheesecake bites, opera cake, to strawberry panna cotta, it’s all worth trying.
The Water Garden Brasserie at the Radisson Blu Dhaka offers regular lunch buffet at Tk2,333 and dinner buffet at Tk3,300. On Friday, a special dinner buffet will be featured at the Poolside priced Tk4,100.
