A two-day long film exhibition titled “Celluloid e Bangabandhu” is currently being held at the TSC auditorium of Dhaka University. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) and Bangladesh Film Archives.

On August 15, 1975, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation, was assassinated along with most of his family members in his own residence. Bangladesh has been observing 15th August, his death anniversary, as a day of mourning. The exhibition includes infographics and artwork on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and rare videographs - films of historical importance, recorded at various stages of his life.

The infographics and artwork exhibition was held from 11pm to 8pm on both days. The film screenings are also on both days at 11pm, 2pm, and 5pm, respectively.
