An overconfident Thai reptile handler got bitten by a crocodile during a live stunt show at Phokkathara zoo on Sunday afternoon, reports The Daily Mail.
The 45-year-old reptile handler and trainer named, Tao performed the stunt in front of around 100 people before he put his hand in the crocodile’s mouth.
In the beginning, Tao displayed his skills and controlled the crocodile with a stick and his tricks. The crocodile was stiff until Tao put his left arm between the creature’s jaws.
He went too far, almost touched the tetrapod animal’s stomach which enraged the animal and it locked his jaw on Tao’s arm to shake it from side to side.
One of the visitors recorded the incident and posted it on YouTube.
In the video Tao was seen screaming in agony before he could escape. He was bleeding when he walked away from the crocodile.
