The R&B singer with violent tendencies was released on a $2,000 bail
The popular R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested yet again right after his show on West Palm Beach, Florida.
The 29-year-old rapper was arrested on charges of battery on July 5, in connection with an incident that occurred more than a year ago, reports CNN.
According to Tampa Police, Chris was picked up from West Palm Beach after his performance at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre at the South Florida Fairgrounds. He was taken to the Palm Beach county jail and was later released on a $2,000 bail.
The arrest warrant was issued from Hillsborough County, where Chris reportedly punched a photographer for taking his pictures without permission at a local nightclub in 2017.
The Palm Beach County Sherriff’s Office declined to provide any further details on what the warrant against Chris was issued for.
After the arrest Chris posted on Instagram that his Tampa tour would go on as planned. The singer is on Full Moon tour and Florida concerts are a part of his tour.
This is not the first time Chris was arrested for felony charges.
In 2009, the singer hit his then girlfriend Rihanna, severely bruising her. He was sentenced to 5 years probation and community service for his violent tendencies.
In 2013, Chris was charged yet again with felony assault in Washington DC for punching a fan who was trying to take photos with him.
Chris also received a five-year restraining order against another of his girlfriends, Karrueche Tran, who claimed the rapper had threatened her with violence in 2017. Chris has other assault charges against him which were dropped due to lack of evidence.
