Sony Pictures uploaded the full length version of ‘Khali the Killer’ on YouTube

We often hear people complain about trailers ruining the experience of watching the entire movie. But the mess that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has made took that notion to new heights as they accidentally released the full movie titled “Khali the Killer” on YouTube, for free.

According to the Independent, the company meant to upload a trailer but instead uploaded the full version of the movie which is over an hour long. The movie stayed online for over six hours and got 11,000 views before it was taken down.

The incident went viral and received criticism on the social media. However, it is hard to tell if it was a deliberate marketing stunt or an honest mistake.

The movie was uploaded by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on their official YouTube channel with the title, “Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer Now on DVD & Digital.” The movie never had a theatrical release and has been available on DVDs since last November.

Khali the Killer is a crime drama written and directed by John Matthews and stars Richard Kabral as Khali, a retiring hitman who plans to take down one last target.
