‘Oporadhi’ is the latest viral song in Bangladesh and is being covered by numerous celebrities and avid music lovers

Bangladeshi cricket icons Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar led in the impromptu cover of ‘Oporadhi’ by the national cricket team in their dressing room. ‘Oporadhi,’ by Ankur Mahamud featuring Arman Alif, has broken all records in Bangladeshi music on YouTube.

‘Oporadhi’ is the latest viral song in Bangladesh and is being covered by numerous celebrities and avid music lovers. Bangladesh cricket team have joined this parade by bringing out their own cover, led by skipper Shakib Al Hasan and dashing opener Soumya Sarkar.

The song was performed by the entire team in their dressing room and was posted by Umme Ahmed Shishir, who is the wife of the skipper, on Facebook on Saturday. The caption for the video reads, “Awesomely sung by the team.” In the video, many cricketers displayed their vocal range and percussion skills.

The original music video gained 41 million views, which has broken all records of Bangladeshi music on YouTube and reached 80th position on the site’s 2018 global ranking.
