NCC Bank celebrated its 28th anniversary, where Chairman SM Abu Mohsin said they aim to become one of the leading banks through using advanced technology and onboarding new customers.
A cake-cutting ceremony was held at the head office alongside other branches and sub-branches, and a Dua Mahfil was also organized virtually for the celebration, said a press release.

Newaz Salim, Directors of the Bank Md Abdul Awal, Sohela Hossain, Tanzina Ali, Khairul Alam Chaklader, Chairman of the Audit Committee Nurul Islam Chowdhury, and Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid attended the virtual Dua Mahfil. Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir and Shamsul Arefin, deputy managing directors, also attended the Mahfil along with senior executives, divisional heads of head office, and branch Managers.
NCC Bank opened on 17 May 1993, said Mohsin, adding that if its tenure as a financial institute is considered, it is now 36 years old.
He added that NCC Bank invested in every sector, including Industrial, RMG, Power, and Infrastructural development in Bangladesh.
During the ceremony, he stated: “NCC Bank has been moving forward with the support and trust of its valued customers,” hoping for continued progress.
Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid said the bank is planning to upgrade its Core Banking Solution (CBS) system by investing more in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to improve digitalization. He said the bank is focusing on application-based products to build up an automated banking system for a virtual banking future.
Rashid ended by thanking members of the board of directors, stakeholders, customers, well-wishers, and officers for their contribution to the growth of the bank.
