Prime Bank appoints new DMD and CFO

Mohammad Habibur Rahman Chowdhury has been appointed as the deputy managing director (DMD) and chief financial officer (CFO) of Prime Bank Limited. Prior to joining Prime Bank, Habibur had worked for United Commercial Bank Limited as DMD and CFO. He had also worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh and Dubai, as well as for the Dubai-based Al Hilal Bank, according to a press release. In addition, Habibur had previously worked for Rahman Rahman Huq, a member firm of KPMG International. Habibur is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting from Dhaka University.
