Women are sorting through plastic bags near the Turag River, at Mirpur Beribadh area in Dhaka. Their livelihoods depend on how fast and how many they can sort within a given period. Most often receive Tk 400 for a day's worth of sorting, but lack of safety gear remains a concern for their wellbeing. The photo was taken recently.
