Augmedix announces expanded partnerships

With the advent of this partnership, the ecosystem will produce more dynamic and patient-focused interaction during the office visit

Augmedix, a leading provider of automated medical documentation solutions, announced several innovative, data-driven partnerships this month. Augmedix is a San Francisco-based company with offices in the US, Bangladesh, and India.

On August 3, Trio Health (Trio) and Augmedix, in partnership with the Consortium of Independent Immunology Clinics (CIIC), announced the launch of an innovative platform to automate, standardize, and structure clinical patient data, right from the point of care, according to a press release.

The new Augmedix-Trio-CIIC ecosystem delivers research-ready clinical insights and real-time disease surveillance for allergy, asthma and immunology care.

With the advent of this partnership, the ecosystem will produce more dynamic and patient-focused interaction during the office visit and superior automated and structured clinical documentation.

On August 8, Augmedix announced a partnership with Adventist Health. Adventist Health is a nonprofit integrated health system with a team of 34,000 members serving more than 80 communities on the West Coast and Hawaii and provides care in hospitals, clinics, home care agencies, hospice agencies and joint-venture retirement centres in both rural and urban communities.

The agreement is part of a scalable strategy to provide over-burdened physicians with automated medical documentation and live clinical services, alleviating a portion of the physicians’ workload with cutting-edge AI technology.

On August 8, Augmedix also reported second-quarter 2022 financial results. “This quarter, we continued to see good momentum,”  said Manny Krakaris, CEO of Augmedix.

“We remain focused on our path to profitability as we drive enterprise customer expansion, make good progress on our automation and new product development, and scale our business model. We are encouraged by our progress so far in 2022 and are set up to deliver a strong second half.”

With these announcements, Augmedix is growing. The Augmedix Bangladesh office is looking to hire additional medical documentation specialists.

More than a scribe, Augmedix medical documentation specialists are remote tech-enabled specialists focused on ensuring medical documentation quality and providing live clinical support.
