MTB and CASHe Alliance signed MoU to launch digital lending app

The digital lending app will accelerate financial inclusion in Bangladesh by offering affordable, hyper-personalized and instantaneous credit to middle-income customers on MTB’s app and powered by CAL’s proprietary alternative credit scoring technology

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) and CASHe Alliance Limited (CAL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a digital lending app aimed at underserved millennials and genZ Bangladeshis at a simple ceremony held at MTB Centre, the bank’s corporate head office in Gulshan 1. 

Managing Director and CEO of MTB Syed Mahbubur Rahman and Director of CASHe Alliance Limited Israr Khosru Chowdhury signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations, reads a press release.

The digital lending app will accelerate financial inclusion in Bangladesh by offering affordable, hyper-personalized and instantaneous credit to middle-income customers on MTB’s app and powered by CAL’s proprietary alternative credit scoring technology. 

The app will be launched in Q3 2022 with MTB’s payroll customers and will be expanded for external customers shortly after.
