House made of eco-friendly hollow block was gifted to Idris Ali, who has been recognized as a "Shada Moner Manush"
Md Idris Ali, a tree lover from Faridpur upazila of Pabna district, who has been recognized as a "Shada Moner Manush" for planting about 500,000 trees at the age of 60, was recently given a house made with environmentally friendly hollow block as a gift by Mir Concrete Block.
Upazila Chairman Prof Md Golam Hossain, Faridpur City Mayor Kamruzzaman Mazed, Mir Group Managing Director Naba-E Zaheer, Chief Relationship Officer Md Rafiqul Islam, Head of Mir Concrete Block Sales and Marketing Department Sakhawat Hossain, Assistant Manager Md Ibne Kawser Riyad, Senior Officer Md. Yusuf and other eminent personalities were present on the program, said a press release.
Upazila Chairman and local people welcomed this initiative of Mir Concrete Block.
''We are really proud to be able to build a house with eco-friendly concrete block for the tree lover, Idris Ali. Mir Concrete Block has always been encouraging an eco-friendly ideology and we believe we will take the oath to remain in the same forever," said Naba-E Zaheer, managing director of Mir Group.
