In addition to purchasing animals, all the payments for meat-processing, post-processing delivery, and home delivery can be made through Nagad
Nagad, the mobile financial service arm of the Bangladesh Post Office, is helping buy sacrificial animals online so that customers may avoid going outside during the pandemic.
Customers can choose their sacrificial animals from the top online markets of the country by making payments through Nagad, according to a press release.
In addition to purchasing animals, all the payments for meat-processing, post-processing delivery, and home delivery can be made through Nagad.
Thus, anyone can sacrifice an animal even when socially-distant.
This Eid, Nagad is the payment-partner of online marketplaces such as Saadeq Agro, Bengal Meat, Bangla Cut, Priyoshop, HungryNaki, Checklist, Bellwether Agro, Meghdubi Agro and so on.
At Saadeq Agro, customers will unlock a discount of 10% if they pay the meat-processing fee using Nagad.
Customers can purchase all types of sacrificial animals from the online markets, with the exception of HungryNaki, where only goats are available.
Users may also talk to the seller through the phone. Some sites may allow them to watch videos of the animals. After selecting an animal, they can pay through the company's Nagad merchant account.
Speaking on the initiative, Tanvir A Mishuk, managing director of Nagad, said: “We always work for the convenience of our customers’ and so, this time, are helping them arrange for a safe Eid by providing them with a range of sacrificial animals. Hopefully, customers will avail themselves of the opportunity and maintain distance during this concerning period. We hope they will appreciate the service.”
