IDCOL declares 46C dividend in 24th AGM

Dividends of Tk23 crore are to be paid to the government as cash dividend, and Tk23 crore is to be used for increasing the company’s paid-up capital to Tk738 crore

Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL)’s 24th Annual General Meeting was held virtually recently, where they declared Tk318.17 crore as their profit before tax and provision for the fiscal year 2019-20.

Also, dividends worth Tk46 crore from the profit was also announced, said a press release.

Fatima Yasmin, chairman of IDCOL and secretary, Economic Relations Division, presided over the meeting.

Dividends of Tk23 crore are to be paid to the government as cash dividend, and Tk23 crore is to be used for increasing the company’s paid-up capital to Tk738 crore from the existing Tk715 crore by issuing bonus shares.

Habibur Rahman, secretary, Power Division; and shareholders Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus, principal secretary to the HPM, Prime Minister’s Office; Abu Hena Md. Rahmatul Muneem, chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR); Tapan Kanti Ghosh, secretary, Ministry of Commerce; and Abdul Baki, additional secretary, Economic Relations Division; attended the event.
