SAVE THE BEES

Bee farmers look forward to winter every year as the honeybees begin collecting nectar and honeydew from the blossoming mustard flowers and regurgitate into honey. 

Each kilogram of the cultivated honey sells at Tk 400-450. But such returns are becoming more and more uncommon as the bee population is fast receding for excessive use of insecticide. The photo was taken in Munshigonj on Thursday.
