Bose drew an end to his bureaucratic career as a senior secretary in the government
Shubhashish Bose has joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) as its new chief executive officer.
The Council of ICAB has confirmed his joining on Tuesday, said a press release.
Bose drew an end to his bureaucratic career as a senior secretary to the government at the Commerce Ministry. Before that, he was in charge of the Ministry of Textile and Jute as well.
He was a member of the Bangladesh Civil Service 1982 (regular batch), who joined the service in 1983 and served in different capacities in the taxation department for 17 years.
He also served in two Bangladesh missions abroad, in South Africa and France, as commercial counsellor for more than seven years.
Bose was also posted as Director General of Executive Cell of Non-Government EPZs Board of Governors in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
