Rabeth Khan, CEO - MACOMM/Dentsu and CEO – MediaAxis/Carat/DAN Media, has become the first Bangladeshi advertising professional to be a part of the judges’ panel The Drum, one of the leading global advertising and marketing communication platforms in the world.
He will be one of the judges’ panel members of the forthcoming The Drum Agency Business Awards 2020.
The panel is comprised of some of the best advertising minds of the world which includes Jean Paul Burge (Chairman and CEO, BBDO Asia), Pip Hulbert (CEO, Wunderman Thompson), Kate Rowlinson (CEO, MediaCom UK), Nicky Bullard (Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, MRM), Esther Franklin (President, Global Strategy – Spark Foundry/Publicis Media), Jill Byrne ( Head of Marketing – Rothco / Accenture Interactive), Patou Nuytemans (Chief Executive, Ogilvy MENA) and Oriel Davis Lyons (Creative Director, Spotify).

“It is an honor for me as an individual which in some ways crowns the efforts of my entrepreneurial career in the advertising and marketing sector of work. It also gives me pride that I am representing Bangladesh in such a global stature platform which will also signify the growth of progression of advertising standards of Bangladesh. I am keenly looking forward to my association with the jury responsibilities and learn immensely from my fellow jury members as well as have a helicopter view of the global advertising and marketing communication experiences and expertise. I am looking forward to seeing efficient processes, outstanding individuals and success stories of advertising agencies, small and big across the world,” said Rabeth on his selection with the prestigious platform.
Rabeth Khan is one of the top post-millennial marketing communication leadership individuals in Bangladesh.
He led MediaAxis to be recognized as one of the top three media agencies of Bangladesh in 2017 by RECMA. His stance on non-compromising ethical stand points led to MediaAxis being awarded as one of the highest VAT payers from service category by the Bangladesh government in 2018.
