“Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh” will donate hygiene products such as Dettol soaps, Harpic and other products to 50,000 families across the country
Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh (DHPB) is going to donate hygiene products, personal protective equipments (PPEs) and other health kits for preventing the spread of coronavirus in different areas of Bangladesh through a partnership with Bangladesh Scouts and Brac.
To support this challenging situation, “Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh” will donate hygiene products such as Dettol soaps, Harpic and other products to 50,000 families across the country, says a press release.
These will be distributed through Brac, the largest development organization in the world, so that these could be distributed among the people at disadvantaged communities, the release added.
They will also partner with Brac and provide cash donation to 500 poor and needy families to run humanitarian programs towards Covid-19 support in rural Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Scouts and DHPB have been working jointly since 2019 for promoting a healthy and clean Bangladesh.
Now for ensuring the safety of the frontline corona-fighters, DHPB will be donating PPEs and Dettol and Harpic products for law-enforcers, healthcare professionals, and municipal workers.
Under this donation more than 50,000 police, 13,000 cleaners and 15,000 health care front line workers will get hygiene products.
Apart from that, DHPB will also donate PPE, masks and hand sanitizer to the people. These will be donated in partnership with Bangladesh Scouts.
Earlier this month, DHPB also donated Dettol soaps that were distributed among disadvantaged families by the Bangladesh Scouts.
